Is it new mask and old same color, I have brown interior and lots of people says that isnt.
How work gps , ok or not

When I got order the DVD unit, it came with a new mask. I sold the old one on eBay.

hi,

what you do with mask were go dvd (you have one small lcd and small free space), if you want put dvd you need big hall, what you do?

Steering wheel controls will work, but microphones won’t work. One of the biggest let downs of this system is the microphone, it’s attached to the screen.

Great tutorial, thanks for posting – does anyone know if this will integrate with the insignia’s in-built microphones in the overhead panel? My 10-plate Insignia has these plus the phone controls, and just wondering if they work or as has been mentioned the microphone on the screen is used.

The microphone is in the screen, so it is a bit far away. But apparently you can disconnect the microphone and extend it so it will be closers to you.
I have not done this as I no longer have my Insignia, but the person I sold the radio to was able to disconenct the microphone from the screen and extend it using a nokia microphone. That meant he was able to place the microphone closer to himself and in return it fixed the speaking issue.

I don’t know if that controllor works as I do not have it on my car. I can tell you that the 3.5mm aux connector inside the arm rest doesn’t work with the radio.

It is easy to change, there is a lot of wires but basically you are just plugging stuff in. think there is 3/4 plugs and that is the radio changed.

Wondering if DAB will still work with this unit?

I noticed tons of wires in your pictures, and it looks confusing. It is difficult to change it?
